The first Riviera property company to use full-motion homepage videos

Press release, Nice, France.    Totally Riviera has just launched its new homepage video service on its Cannes website. The company has become an industry leader in producing professionally edited videos of properties across its four internet platforms (Nice, Cannes, Villefranche and Languedoc) after repeated requests from clients who wished to see a more open and honest visual representation of the properties they wish to view.

According to Totally Riviera Managing Director, Dennis Broadfield “many of our clients have told us that photos can sometimes be misleading and they wanted a better way of viewing properties remotely - preferably over the internet” he adds. “Other agencies use video, but in fact it’s usually just a selection of still photos edited together in a row; we shoot our villas and apartments with DV-cam in detail and then edit on laptops, with relevant information at the bottom of the screen, before posting to Youtube”

Totally Riviera then links the video from Youtube directly to the page of the property concerned.

According to Broadfield who spent 25 years as a television journalist and producer, the response to the videos has been way above expectations. He adds - “our clients can view the property of their choice in the comfort of their own home or office in London, New York or Sydney - in fact anywhere in the world - they can then make a much more informed decision about whether they wish to view the property before they arrive on the Riviera.”

For the technically minded, the Totally Property Group shoots their videos on JVC and Sony DV-Cams, then edits the pictures with music and on-screen detail, using Apple Macbook laptops running the program ‘MovieHD’
